Our types of delivery include:
- Courses and workshops
- Coaching, including Executive Life Coaching
- Train the trainer
- Mentoring
- Seminars
Our modus operandi for delivery is based around a deeply held belief – and research backs us up - that the deepest, longest-lasting and most natural learning comes from undertaking well chosen activities and scenarios. So our training reflects this. Technically it’s called ‘accelerated learning’. It’s basically learning from experience.
By the way this doesn’t mean that our delegates build wooden boats that are sailed precariously across lakes; not do they climb mountains and endure frost bite to demonstrate what a bonded, high performing team they are.
No, our flagship ‘management challenges’ workshop is a good example of how it works. It works through practical scenarios that most managers have to face – from mobilising a new team to dealing with conflict; from managing their manager to coping with a demanding workload. Groups collaborate to to muse over different options and their preferred approach. They feedback. The facilitator challenges, probes and fills in the gaps. Best practice is shared.
No one drowns, no one gets frost bite – but, one by one, as they work through the scenarios they gradually become equipped with knowledge and confidence to help them meet up to their real life management challenges. And assessments, handouts and follow-up embeds the learning.
Regardless of the area delivery can be pitched at advanced (business leaders and managers), intermediate or basic level.
Where suitable the development can be supported by licensed use of Personality Profiling tools such as Facet5 (which helps individuals to realise their strengths and potential areas of further development) and Belbin (enabling team members to identify the role they feel best suited to in a team).
